As an important offshore financial center in the world, Hong Kong has always been favored by investors from all over the world. With the global increase in the clearance of illegal funds, Hong Kong has also signed the CRS and actively cooperated with the Hong Kong Government's 2018 Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Financial Institutions) (Amendment) Regulations and strict enforcement. The Hong Kong Government's "Regulations on the Administration of Companies" requires all companies registered in Hong Kong to perform a series of normative actions with a view to strengthening their control over their companies.

For unfulfilled Hong Kong companies, they will be punished by 100,000 to 3 million Hong Kong dollars and will be punished by imprisonment for 6 months to 2 years. Since the implementation of CRS, the Hong Kong government has focused on checking the crackdown on the commercial registration market to prevent illegal crimes such as money laundering, tax evasion and tax evasion. The latest measure is that the staff of the Hong Kong Registry strictly check the water quality display of Hong Kong companies. The Registrar will dispatch personnel from time to time to conduct inspections at the address where the company is registered.

The Companies Ordinance stipulates that "in order to facilitate the use of a registered office of a number of companies, or the location of a business premises, the name of the company must be displayed electronically. The Regulation contains new provisions to prescribe that wherever there is more At the registered offices or business premises of the six companies, it is necessary to display the registration name at least once in each section within 4 minutes, each time for at least 15 seconds, or as long as someone is required to display the registration through electronic equipment. After the name, the name can be displayed within 4 minutes, it is deemed that the company has complied with, and the relevant provisions of the registered name are displayed at the place."

The regulations for Hong Kong companies to hang water cards were issued in 2014, but they have not been strictly implemented. The Registry has now begun to verify the implementation of the water card. According to the regulations, if a Hong Kong company violates this requirement and does not hang a water permit, it is likely to be investigated by the Hong Kong Government and face a fine ranging from 600 to 10,000 yuan.

It can be seen that in the context of global anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, Hong Kong has maintained a good reputation in the international market and cooperated with international actions in various forms and means to make Hong Kong's financial environment safer.
